Classroom Medics workshop
St Anselm’s College hosted the first ever Classroom Medics workshop on the Wirral.
A Wolverhampton based educational company - Classroom Medics ventured over to Merseyside to promote their services. Alison Ravenscroft from St Anselm’s College was approached by Michelle Dow from Mersey Stem to host the free advertising event and help organise links with other schools. The workshops were demonstrating a wide range of medical equipment. 55 Year 9 and Year 10 pupils from St Anselm’s College, St John Plessington, Upton Hall and Deyes High School had the opportunity to have a hands on experience to use and interact with all the equipment and ask the expert medics questions about the potential careers in medicine, sport science and many more. All students enjoyed the experience and wished it was longer.
