Sir Tony Robinson visits the College

On Thursday the 29th June the College was filled with excitement as we had a visit from Sir Tony Robinson!

He came in to talk about his new books, his adventures and many gruesome historical facts. The talk was aimed at Years 7 and 8 but the Hall was filled with many more keen 6th formers and staff. There was great interest, laughter and audience participation from the students and staff, as Mr Watson from the Music Dept. was turned into a live Mummy!

We cannot thank Linghams Heswall and Sir Tony enough for his visit, he is such a genuine, warm and talented man and it was a privilege to host the event. I'm certain a big impact has been left on the students involved.
