Our strong start continues

The 1st XV continued their impressive winning start to the season with an 87-7 win over Hilbre in the Nat West Vase and then an impressive 45-12 victory away at Cheadle on Saturday. Try of the match was scored by Ally Hughes, following an excellent passage of play involving over 20 phases!! There is strong competition for places and this is fuelling the progress of the team.

The 2nd team narrowly lost against a more powerful Cheadle 2s but gave a good account of themselves. Jake Bennett has started the season in fine form.

The under 15s and Under 14s won well at home and the Year 8s lost but showed their progress.  This is a team with great potential and they have come a long way in twelve months.

The Year 7 As lost and the B s won in their first game for the College and with over 180 boys representing the rugby teams it was a good day as we won the block fixture overall. Thanks to all the staff and  parents who support on the sidelines. Finally a big thank you to Tommy for working so hard on the grounds following a week of downpours!
