Harry Charsley selected for U16 Republic of Ireland team
In April, I got a very exciting email from the Irish FAI asking me to go to Belgium on tour with them. I am fortunate that my Mum is Irish which makes me eligible to play for them. Just a few days later, it was time to fly to Dublin and meet the team, who were all extremely friendly. After getting to know all the names, we flew to Belgium the following morning. I was very excited. We were set to play two matches against Belgium over the course of five days. The first match we won 3-1, and I made my first appearence coming on from the bench. The second game we won 4-1, where I started my first game for Ireland in centre midfield. After a fantastic trip meeting new people from different places around Ireland, it was time to go home. It was a great experience!
