    Year 11 students at St. Anselm’s College are celebrating some of the best GCSE results in the College’s history this week, including a record number of high-achieving students! 94% of students gained 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths, the national benchmark. 44% of students gained 5+ A*/A grades and 42% of all entries were graded at A* or A. The average score of 10+ grades A*-C per student, 522 GCSE points, confirmed that this was the College’s highest-performing GCSE cohort!     Students at the College are celebrating their A Level results after another year of impressive achievement! 50% of all entries gained the top grades (A*-B) with an overall 98% pass rate (grades A-E), similar to the high standards of recent years. 96% of all students achieved 3 or more GCE (A level) passes. 11% of all entries achieved the A* grade, or BTEC equivalent, awarded to the highest-performing students.   • Summer Ball 2012

    St Anselm's College Hall was transformed last night to welcome a 170 guests to the Summer Ball, in aid of the refurbishment of Outwood. The lantern lit quad hosted a champagne reception with canapes as well as a cocktail bar, which proved most popular with the guests. Even a sudden downpour did not dampen spirits! The warm summer evening meant guests were able to enjoy the relaxed ambience of the quad into the wee small hours. Read More

    Food Technology took part in the Year 5 Leadership Days organised by Mr Gott and Mr Mason During the two days the Year 5 students were supported and led by Ryan Neish, Sam Purnell and Nicholas Prebble from Year 10, Rory Hinchey and Joe Hardy from Year 11 and the Year 9 food group - Alex Kirkham, Liam Edwards, Lewis Gould, Lachlan Urquhart, Joe Hodrien, Scott Cope, Ben Whitehurst, Ryan Crane, Andrew Gilmour, Christopher Furlong, Jacob Franks, James Cullen, Daniel Chapman, Jake Jones, Robert Lacey, Adam Tieran, Nick Moore and Harvey Rutter.
