    The 1st XV continued their impressive winning start to the season with an 87-7 win over Hilbre in the Nat West Vase and then an impressive 45-12 victory away at Cheadle on Saturday. Try of the match was scored by Ally Hughes , following an excellent passage of play involving over 20 phases!! There is strong competition for places and this is fuelling the progress of the team.     Congratulations, George!

    Year 7 student George Colquitt will be representing the North West under 12 age group in the RYA Honda RIB Challenge on 17th September at the Southampton boat show. He will be driving the RIB around a slalom race course, manoeuvring the craft as skilfully as possible, all at high speed and hoping for the fastest lap time!     Rugby season starts with good wins!

    The Rugby season started with a block fixture on Saturday and there were good wins for the 1st XV and 2nd XV at home. Whilst away the Under 13s and Under15s also won convincingly. The 1st XV produced a polished performance on Saturday to score six tries and win 36-7. There were excellent performances from Nolan, Dufton-Kelly and debutant Ryan. Read More

    Our recent Year 11 students are celebrating their GCSE results following some outstanding individual achievements. 93% of Year 11 boys achieved grades 4 or above in both English and Maths, with 18% gaining grades 7-9 in both subjects, the best of any Boys’ school in Wiral LA. Students on average gained 9+ grades A*-C or equivalents and our Attainment 8 score was 56.03 points. This maintained the high standards of recent years and follows on from our excellent A level results which were the best of any Boys’ 6th Form in Wirral. Read More
