    An encouraging start to the season with a score line that does not do justice to the way we played. Saint Anselm's demonstrated some great Rugby today, particularly in defence keeping out strong waves of attack from a very strong, well drilled Cheadle Hulme. It was hard to keep track of the amount of try saving tackles and crucial turnovers made. All that was lacking was the ability to convert some cracking breaks into tries. Read More

    Former St Anselmís pupil ready for Englandís World Cup challenge.

    Former St Anselmís College pupil Neil Parsley will be heavily involved in the Rugby World Cup over the coming weeks. Neil was a distinquished rugby player at the College from 1985-1992 and then played professional rugby league with Warrington. He is an intergral member of the England Rugby World Cup squad 2015 as the Strength and Conditioning coach. He has overseen Englandís tortuous World Cup preparations and is excited about the forthcoming challenge. Read More

  • Outwood House Open Day

    Here are some photos of Outwood House on its first day open to the public. We had an amazing turnout, over one hundred people during the first weekend (5-6 September) and the same the following weekend (12-13 September). We also received positive feedback from the public and we even had visitors who were ancestors of the Segar and Heap families (who from 1862 built, owned and lived in Outwood House). Read More

    GCSE Results 2015 - Record Breakers!

    Year 11 students at St. Anselmís College are celebrating their GCSE results this week, following some outstanding individual achievements. 98% of Year 11 boys gained 5 or more A*-C grades and 41% 5 or more top grades, A* or A. On average students gained 9+ grades A*-C per student. This maintained the high standards of recent years. Read More

    Outstanding A Levels at St Anselm's College

    Joseph Prebble, from Meols, is celebrating achieving the best A Level results in the history of St. Anselmís College, Birkenhead. Joseph secured 4 A*s & 1 A grade and has accepted a place to study Mathematics at The University of Bath. His classmate George Booth, from Wallasey, achieved 3 A* and 2 A grades, and has a place for Chemical Engineering at Imperial College, London University. Read More
