  • Year 8 Juice FM visit

    Year 8 Juice FM visit

    23rd April 2013

Four students in Year 8 spent the afternoon at the Juice FM studios in Liverpool One, which was a prize that was offered as part of our Lenten fundraising season. The boys were treated to a guided tour of the studios and newsroom and watched how the music was selected, shows were put together and news bulletins produced. Whilst on the tour, there was plenty of time to speak to the DJs and ask any questions, including JC, Steve Timmins and ex St Anselm's student Liam Hincks (pictured.) A fantastic afternoon was had by all and thanks to Juice FM for their time and the 'shout out' live on air! Read More

    19th March 2013

When you come to understand the word ‘euphony’, it isn’t difficult to realise how appropriate the term is for the 3 musicians who so deservedly won the recent 2013 Battle of the Bands. Euphony 3 had the opportunity, a couple of weeks ago, to enjoy their prize: a chance to have their winning set recorded in a professional studio at Glyndwr University, Wrexham, with a view to producing a DVD.
