    The College's Edmund Rice International Ambassadors - Patrick Burke and Will Mort, both of Year 13 - recently visited the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. It was a very insightful and interesting visit, and it provided an overview into the sometimes unseen work that the UN does to ensure that its members are fully accountable for the human rights of their citizens.     Year 9 Bag Pack for Italy Rugby tour

    Congratulations to†a group†of Year 9†students who spent last Saturday bag packing in Tesco, Heswall. The event was held to raise funds to support their Rugby tour to Treviso in May. The students took turns throughout the day in 2 hour shifts.†Their hard work paid off as they managed to raise a staggering £965 towards the tour.     Following a hearty breakfast in the College canteen for staff, students and their families, a group of 12 students and 4 staff set off at 9am on Wednesday 15th February 2017 on a journey to Sierra Leone. This was the Collegeís first trip to the West African country since the outbreak of Ebola and we were hoping to find a country, which had been in recovery following civil war, that was once again building a future for itself.
