    Just before the half-term break, the College was represented by Miss Baines, Mrs Madden and four sixth-formers at Wallasey Town Hall, where a group of refugees from Asylum Link in Liverpool enjoyed lunch in the company of the Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Pat Hackett, and the Mayoress, Mrs Elaine Hackett.     Each December I run a small†gift shop in College to raise money for the Charles Thompson Mission. The money is used to buy tinned / non perishable food to make festive food hampers. These hampers are for elderly pensioners and families with young children who are living in impoverished circumstances. Read More

    On Wednesday 19th October the College hosted the annual Careers Fair. Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 were strategic target audiences for the event and different outcomes expected from each, but one common goal was to broaden pupilsí appreciation of the scope of occupations available to them. For those Lower Sixth form students planning further education there was the chance to speak with representatives of Chester, Edge Hill, Lancaster, Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores and Wrexham Glyndwr universities.
