    Year 10 Rugby 7s success

    The Year 10 sevens side were excellent at the Cheshire 7s yesterday. A strong start with a good win over Sandbach GS 27- 12 was followed by a very narrow loss to favourites Lymm HS 19-17. Then a very powerful finish to the group with a 30-0 win over Bramhall HS meant it was progress to the cup quarter final as group runners-up. Read More

    On the 2nd of March twenty nervous young Anselmians, along with myself and Miss McIlroy, departed for a week in Paris to stay with their French exchange partner from Lycée Fenelon. The week was a resounding success, we avoided the rain and had a couple of glorious days of sunshine. After spending a morning in lessons the boys in Y9 and Y10 walked, on average, 20km each day visiting famous landmarks such as Le Louvre, Le Champs Élysées, Le Stade de France and Le Sacre Coeur.     RoboCup Team wins UK National Final, invited to China!

    On Saturday, the College RoboCup Team travelled to Princethorpe College, near Rugby, to participate in the RoboCup Junior UK National Finals. Our team consists of six Year 9 pupils: Edward Attenborough, Josh Campbell, Simon Hall, Kieran Lowe, Tom Ryan and Sean Wilkinson. Their two autonomous robots were pitted against opposition from other schools from around the country, playing 10 minute long 2-on-2 football matches. Read More

  • Maths Challenge

    Maths Challenge

    12th March 2015

    On Wednesday a team of four boys from Years 8 and 9 went to Birkenhead School to compete in the regional heat of the UKMT Team Maths Challenge. They took part in a variety of challenging maths activities, competing against 18 other local schools. The boys performed exceptionally well and finished in first place. This qualifies us for a place in the national final, to be held in London in June. Read More
