KS5
Students going on to 6th form study will be offered a challenging curriculum. All Y12 students study 4 AS levels of their choice as well as AS-level General Studies. Additionally, they follow enrichment activities, known as ABC courses. The specific subjects for these ABC lessons vary from year to year, but currently we offer Italian, Mandarin, Sociology and Anthropology, Film Studies, Peer Mentoring, Sports Leader Award, Website design and Chaplaincy. All Y12 students take part in Games and they also have one lesson of general religious studies each week.
In Y13, students study 3 or 4 A-levels of their choice as well as General Studies. Students in Y13 may also submit an Extended Project. Y13 students also benefit from a weekly lesson in religious studies, but they do not follow ABS courses and the weekly games session becomes a voluntary activity.
