Aim/Rationale

The curriculum has been developed to educate our students for life and it embraces the principles of Blessed Edmund Rice.

Objectives

To deliver a learning programme which challenges the students to fulfil their academic potential.
To develop each student as a whole person through a broad range of educational experiences and to prepare him for the world of work.
To provide religious and moral guidance.
To meet the requirements of the National Curriculum.

Overall Structure

The Curriculum is designed to offer a broad and balanced range of educational experience across Key Stages 3 and 4. A broad range of options is offered in the Sixth Form.
The College is committed to developing strong ICT provision.
Literacy and numeracy standards are high and a formalised policy is in the process of development.
