St Anselm's College is committed to the provision of high standards of education for all its pupils. This includes the identification and assessment of boys with special educational needs. All staff have a shared responsibility to provide for pupils with special educational needs, under the guidance of the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator, SENCO and the direction of the Governing Body.

In additional to the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator, there is a link Governor and a team of link teachers.

There are 37 pupils on the Special Needs Register; of these, 2 are statemented.
