St Anselm's Star Pupil!
Jonathan Blohm, from Meols, achieved some of the best GCSE results ever
recorded at St. Anselm's College. In addition to equalling the College
record of 11A* grades in all subjects taken, a feat only previously achieved
twice, Jonathan also recorded top 5 marks nationally in GCSE Biology,
Chemistry, Physics and French as examined by the AQA Board. In recognition
of these unprecedented achievements, Jonathan was awarded the inaugral
Unilever Trophy & Award for the Highest Individual Achievement at GCSE at
the College's Annual Prize Giving at Wallasey Town Hall on 19th December
2006, by our Principal Guest, the distinguished Liberian surgeon, Mr. George
Flahn, himself a Christian Brothers' Old Boy.
