On Wednesday, Kieran Lowe (Year 9), as part of the Digital Youth Council, took part in a presentation at the BETT 2015 technology fair at the ExCel Centre in London. This was a very high profile event attended by thousands of education professionals, with other speakers including Sir Bob Geldof, Nicky Morgan and Anthony Salcito, Vice CEO of Microsoft Education Worldwide. Kieran and the other DYC members talked about their ideas for how technology could be improved in schools in the UK in front of an influential audience; they were then interviewed for radio by Rory Cellan-Jones, BBC News Technology Correspondent.
