Catenians' Regional Public Speaking Competition

Devan Jones represented St Anselm's College at the regional event of the Catenians' Public Speaking Competition on the evening of Friday 22nd March. Held at Carmel College in St Helens, the event fielded five other Catholic Schools who delivered a wide range of topics within their 4 minute allocated slot. Devan's lively and entertaining exploration of the notion of time was extremely well received. The scoring for the top three winners was very close and we are proud that Devan secured third place in only his second public speaking competition. Well done and many thanks to the Catenians for organising the event and the wonderful meal that followed.
