Cross Country news 2nd October 2021

Saturday 2nd October saw our first College Cross-Country race in over 18 months. We had an extremely large turnout across all year groups and there were some impressive performances!

In Year 7, Malachi Harty came 2nd, despite running the end of the race with one spike! Stanley Dodd came 3rd as the Year 7 team won the team race. In the Year 8 & 9 race, Samuel Clarke led the team home in 5th place, with Joshua Gardner in 8th position.

In Year 10 & 11, Jack Talbot was 5th, Lewis Greenhalgh 6th and Tom Weedall 7th. This was especially pleasing as these students were competing against strong County Year 11 runners. Joshua Hale led the Senior team home with an impressive run with Harry Ross Hughes & Josh Longman in 2nd & 3rd places respectively.

A huge thank you to all the students who took part and to the parents who supported the boys. Well done to all!
