This week the First XI played two shortened matches on Wednesday afternoon, against Lymm High school and Kings Chester. They played Lymm first and put in an extremely gritty performance, defending outstandingly and counter attacking brilliantly but ultimately drew 0-0 in a very close game. They then played Kings Chester, in again, an end to end match. With both teams having chances, Taylor finished fantastically but was deemed to be just outside the dee. We eventually lost the match 1-0 but deserved much more.

The Second XI started fantastically against a strong Birkenhead School team and lead through Hayes but eventually came undone and lost 5-2.

The U16's, who have hardly had the opportunity to train together, beat Birkenhead School on Thursday night, 5-1.
This weekend there are fixtures for the U15's and U14's against Calday Grammar.
Well done to all the boys this week for your hard work.
