Headmaster's message 5th June

5th June 2020

Dear Parents

I hope that you and your families are well and that your sons have returned to productive online learning routines, using Show My Homework and Microsoft Teams. I am contacting you to bring you up-to-date with developments.

Years 7 and 8 will have online Assessments during the week commencing Monday 15th June 2020 so boys should be revising each subject from this weekend.

Following the Year 9 Assessment Week we will be sending Report Cards home later this month to update parents and students about progress.

In line with the Secondary Guidance issued by the DfE the College will be providing some “face to face” support for students in Years 12 and 10 after 15th June. Some of this will take place on site. I will be writing to Year 12 and 10 Parents and Students next week to explain how this provision will operate and the requirements of students, supported by parents, so that our plan can function safely. I will be formally consulting them about it.

Following our provision of Transition Materials for Year 11 students seeking a place in Year 12 in September teachers will be providing further resources and assignments this month.

I wish all parents and students an enjoyable and safe weekend.

Yours sincerely

R S Duggan
