Headmaster's Weekly Message 12th June

Dear Anselmian parents and students,

I hope that you and your families are well. This feels like a turning point! On Monday, 15th June, we are increasing the numbers of students attending College by welcoming back small groups of Year 12 students for face to face on-site support.
Similar provision will be extended to Year 10 students during the week commencing Monday 22nd on a Form by Form daily basis.
In both cases no more than 25% of the Year group are allowed on site at any time, in order to maintain social distancing, as per the DfE Secondary Guidance.
We will alternate on-site provision for these 2 Year groups, both of whom have Public Exams in 2021, on a weekly basis from mid-June.

We have not forgotten our other Year groups! Years 7 and 8 have Assessment Weeks during the week beginning 15th June, please see Mr Rumsby's messages, supported by those from Mrs Evans and Mr Diaz. We are currently planning enrichment activities for Year 9 and will send out their Report Cards later this month.

We have completed our Centre Assessed Grades for GCSE, BTec and A Level students and have sent them off to the Exam Boards. These grades remain confidential, and are subject to moderation, so don't be tempted to ask about them!

Please continue to monitor the website for updates, including our Risk Assessment and Action Plan for our return to on-site provision.

I hope that you and your sons enjoy the weekend.

Best wishes,
Simon Duggan
Headmaster
