Dan Miller RIP

The College is dismayed to announce the death of Mr Daniel Miller who was a student here from 1988-96. Dan enjoyed an exemplary career at the College achieving 10 GCSEs and 4 A levels as well as being a 1st XV regular, touring North America, a stalwart of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and Chairman of The Friday Club. Dan graduated in Marine and Freshwater Biology in 1999 from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and enjoyed a successful business career in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as a Hospital Account Manager. After graduating he played 1st XV Rugby for Old Anselmians and Hoylake Rugby Clubs and helped with coaching, as he did at the College this season. Dan was  our Guest Speaker at The Participation Awards in 2019 and spoke wittily and passionately about his educational experiences. Dan came from a St. Anselm's dynasty with an Anselmian father, brothers and son. He was an exemplary  Catholic father, brother and son, was much-loved and highly respected, and will be greatly missed.

May Dan rest in peace.
