Hockey News

There was a wide range of hockey fixtures on during the weekend with lots of pupils representing the College. Unfortunately, the poor weather meant that the Year 9 and 10 games against Calday were postponed. However, over 40 boys from years 7 and 8 played in fixtures away at Calday. The boys did fantastically well considering they have played a limited number of matches. Well done to all that took part.

On Saturday afternoon the Anselm's Combined Senior and Old Boy's Team played in the Wirral Summer League. This was a tricky fixture against a challenging Bebington side. The boys did extremely well and ended up drawing 2-2 with both goals coming from Dodd. There were brilliant performances from Raynor and Fiddaman and numerous others who had already played fixtures in the morning. A special mention for both Prescott and Morris who both made their debuts for the senior team and made fantastic contributions. The Seniors next play Chester on Thursday.
Well Done to all that played over the weekend and thank you for your efforts !
